During the 6th EASN International Conference „Innovation in European Aeronautics Research” in Porto, a cooperative agreement was signed between the Institute of Aircraft Design, University of Stuttgart and the Institute of Aviation.

On the basis of the above-mentioned Agreement, the University of Stuttgart and the Institute of Aviation will, in the future, realize joint tasks and R&D projects in the field of aeronautical engineering.

The University of Stuttgart was founded in 1829 and is composed of 10 faculties. It is one of the top nine leading technical universities in Germany with highly ranked programs in civil, mechanical, industrial and electrical engineering.

The University of Stuttgart is especially known for its expertise in the fields of aerospace engineering,advanced automotive engineering, efficient industrial and automated manufacturing as well as process engineering.
