Numerous attractions are waiting for aviation enthusiasts this year at the 15th International Air Show Radom 2017, which will be held on 26-27 August 2017 at the 42nd Żwirki and Wigury Air Base airport. Aerobatics will be accompanied by educational exhibitions related to Polish aviation and astronautics. The Institute of Aviation, at the Polish Space Agency stand, will be promoting the Polish project of ILR-33 ‘Amber’ rocket.

This year’s Air Show Radom will be held under the slogan of the 85th anniversary of the amazing victory of Poles – captain pilot Franciszek Żwirka and engineer Stanisław Wigura in 1932 in the International Aircraft Competition ‘Challenge’.

In addition to aerobatics, guests of the event will be able to see aircraft and helicopters expositions, equipment of all types of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, as well as become acquainted with the potential of universities, military institutions and defense companies.

The Institute of Aviation, at the invitation of the Polish Space Agency, will present to the visitors its own project developed at the Center of Space Technologies – ILR-33 “Bursztyn” rocket. Participation in the exhibition aims to promote achievements in the field of rocket technology in the context of space launches and the transfer of combat loads.
