On 19 December 2016 the Institute of Aviation hosted a Ministry of Development delegation from the Department of Subordinate and Supervised Units. The visit was an opportunity to summarize and present the research capabilities of the Institute of Aviation to the members of the delegation.
The Institute representatives delivered the following speeches: ‘New projects – a new quality of cooperation with General Electric’, ‘Composites – how to become a leader in high technology’, ‘New solutions for SME’s’, ‘How the Institute of Aviation charmed the European Union?’.
The delegation members visited a group of avionics specialists working in one of the state-of-the-art laboratories and where were toured to a wind tunnel testing facility, a laboratory with a robot for laying composite strips and two aircraft engines laboratories.
The delegation also met with a group of human resources staff who spoke about their work, the recruitment process of specialists with unique skills and also about various activities in the framework of corporate social responsibility and social projects.
