27 – 29 March, 2012 Director of the Institute of Aviation, Witold Wiśnowski paid a revisit to the National Aviation University in Kiev. He was received by the Rector for scientific affairs prof. Volodymyr Charczenka and the Rector for international relations Irina Zarubinska.
During an official meeting were presented the structure of the University, directions of development and fields of interest. In the halls of the museum hosts made Director Wisniowski familiar with the the history of the founding of the University. During the meetings were specified directions of joint activities to participate in competitions announced by the EU, joint scientific research projects, organization of congresses and conferences. During the meetings with professors of aerospacial, fuel and ecology faculties participants took up a specific assumptions for cooperation. The meeting was attended by professors: W.A. Kasianov, A.I. Zaporozec, I.V. Boiczenko, S.W. Ignatov, S.A. Iszczenko, W.N. Azarov.
Participants of the meeting declared taking part at the next congress “Safety of Aviation”. The ways of organizing of trainings, research internships, student interships, disertation and habilitation were also discussed. NAU proposed exchange of electronic library resources. Director of the Institute of Aviation visited laboratories of the National Aviation University and was invited to the professorial seminary, in which professors presented the results of their scientific work for their collegues. At the seminars can participate students and PhD students as listeners.
