Łukasz Grabowski from EDC (part of the Institute of Aviation) became Junior Gliding Vice Champion of the World during Junior World Gliding Championships in Musbach (Germany). The event was held between 5th – 20th of August 2011. It is not his first succes. Łukasz is actual Junior Polish Champion, and achieved this title for a third time in a row recently. During previous edition of the Junior World Gliding Championshpis in 2009 in Finland, he placed 15th (among 45 competitors). He flies gliders since 2002 and starts in glider championships since 2006.
