Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation

The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Poznań University of Technology and aims at elaborating the method for quick estimation of aeroelastic characteristics during in-flight flutter tests. The goal of the project is to develop a tool applicable in the aircraft production certification to increase safety of in-flight flutter tests and to reduce the test time, which would result in reducing the aircraft production cost.
This solution will be capable of changing the aircraft industry through offering the possibility of implementing the tests results in the aircraft production process.
The manager of the 14-strong team was Antoni Niepokólczycki, PhD Eng.
